Jessica L. Fleming


Jessica Fleming Oden has been practicing law since 2008.  In January 2008, Jessica joined the law firm of Friedman and Downey, P.C. as an associate attorney.  In this position, she represented individuals applying for Social Security and VA disability benefits throughout the country.  This included representation before administrative law judges in forty six states!


While in law school, Jessica worked for Burroughs and Guin, L.L.P. in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and for the Antitrust Division within the Department of Justice in Atlanta, Georgia.  She also served as the Lead Articles Editor of the Law and Psychology Review and as a research assistant to Professor George Geis.  


Jessica was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama.  In her free time, she loves to read, run, craft and bake desserts.
